Lead the architectural integration of tactical UAV flight computers, MIL-STD telemetry, command & control (C2) data links, and multi-sensor electro-optical gimbal payloads from hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) benches to live field trials.

Key Responsibilities
  • UAV avionics architecture, sensor fusion (IMU/GPS/Baro), and flight controller tuning (PX4 / ArduPilot).
  • Integration of encrypted military radio transceivers and ground control telemetry protocols.
  • Hardware-in-the-loop simulation, power budget optimization, and EMI/EMC shielding.
  • Field deployment support at our Vita flight test corridor and range firing lines.
Eligibility Criteria
  • B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Aerospace, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • 3+ years of verifiable experience in unmanned systems or defence electronics.
  • Proficiency with CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, and RS-422/485 serial communication.
  • Familiarity with Defence Procurement Procedure (DAP 2020) and MIL-STD testing.

Senior Mechanical / Production Engineer

3+ Years Experience 📍 Vita Defence Facility 🛠 Airframe & Precision Manufacturing

Oversee airframe structural design, carbon-fibre composite tooling, CNC precision manufacturing, and final line assembly of military tactical UAVs, ensuring aerospace weight tolerances and AS9100D compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • High-modulus carbon-fibre prepreg layups, vacuum-bagging, and autoclave curing schedules.
  • Multi-axis CNC milling, precision jig/fixture design, and aerospace fastener compliance.
  • FEA structural analysis for aerodynamic gust loads, wing flutter, and high-G stresses.
  • Production floor setup, quality inspection gating, and AS9100D compliance.
Eligibility Criteria
  • B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Production Engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute pre-flight and post-flight inspection checklists on fixed-wing and hybrid VTOL UAVs.
  • Operate motor dynamometer and static thrust stands to measure efficiency and thermal dissipation.
  • Lithium battery management: internal resistance testing and discharge profiling.
  • Download, organize, and analyze flight telemetry logs (MAVLink / PX4 uLog) for performance anomalies.
Eligibility Criteria
  • Recent Graduate or Final-Year Student (B.E. / B.Tech) in Aerospace, Electronics, or Mechanical.
